So what are you making on January 2nd?

I’m making my New Years Day meal tomorrow that is traditional for my family (and honestly not terribly unhealthy!) but I’m trying to think to once the holidays are officially over. After a couple of weeks of indulging I want to eat clean, but may have to ease into it! I’ve been off track for a bit. No restrictions, no ingredients I hate terribly. I have an instant pot, air fryer, and an equipped kitchen. I do have a slow cooker but it’s honestly not really convenient to me. So, what are you guys planning? Just hoping the grocery store is open for a bit tomorrow! submitted by /u/Life_Test [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/35eLius

I became a lifetime member in 2007 and have gained about 30#'s over the years. I've been able to just kind of watch what I eat and lose weight again, but I miss the structure and accountability of WW. Does anyone know what plan they were running in 2007 and what current plan would be comparable ? Woman hit with $28,000+ bill after throat swab test at doctor's visit

A routine doctor's visit for a sore throat brought more than $28,000 in charges for one woman. In our Bill of the Month partnership with Kaiser Health News and NPR, we take a look at unexpected medical costs. The woman’s visit shows even when insurance does cover medical charges, costs can still skyrocket in the long run. David Begnaud reports, and Kaiser Health News editor-in-chief Dr. Elisabeth Rosenthal joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss the findings. from Health - CBSNews.com https://ift.tt/2ZF7VXT

WW Coffee Question

I am just beginning WW. I would like some input on coffee preparation that are WW friendly. I love my coffee with flavored creamer but I would like some alternatives that would keep my points to 2 or less for my morning coffee. Has anyone tried any concoctions that are satisfying and low points? Some options I’m considering are protein shake powder, or PBfit. Does anyone have any luck with keeping your points low and still being satisfied with that morning cup? submitted by /u/bdawson4 [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/2F59Ifs

Wife and I just joined

My wife and I joined WW over the weekend and we are both excited to get our weight under control. I've been over 250 lbs since 7th grade (currently 295) and I'm now 29 so it's way past due. We've been working out at home in the evenings and making better choices but we haven't been tracking everything. I'd say my first big goal is to see results by April 1st, 2020, that's the day we leave for our honeymoon. Anyway, just wanted somewhere to express my excitement for us to get in shape. Thank you! submitted by /u/ReptileElite [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/2Zzk6FE

Recipe: A Sweet & Rich Creamy Roasted Fig, Walnut & Goat’s Cheese Salad

Image
Lee Holmes from SuperCharged Foods is a nutritionist, author, and chef. She realized that many of us are living a time-poor and work orientated existence and set about making recipes not only classic and elegant but also simple, quick and easy to prepare to enable everyone to cook nutritious meals from scratch without having to be a Cordon Bleu chef. All her recipes contained in Supercharged Food are gluten, wheat, (mostly) dairy, yeast and sugar-free and fortunately don’t taste like cardboard so are suitable for the whole family. And the great thing about her recipes is that they can be customized to your own taste and dietary requirements as there is no one size fits all when it comes to food. Download Lee’s latest eBook now for free — Healthy Holiday Hacks I believe deep down that goat’s cheese and beetroot were made for one another. Their romance is proof that opposites attract, and that two entirely different souls can be a match made in heaven. Here, the bright pink, sweet, ear

Trying this again! I want to lose the 10-15 pounds that have crept up this year!

So I’ve lost 50 pounds twice and for the most part have stayed between 155-140 for quite some time. Then I got married! And used medical ‘amphetamines’ to get to 124. I had never been that skinny in my life. I looked good. Not healthy. So I quit of course and let myself hover between 128-133. But only by barely eating. Then my beloved grandpa became quite ill and I am caregiving for him and cook 3 meals a day. Now I’m 141. It doesn’t seem like a lot but being 5’3 it’s a totally different pant size. I also want to have a better relationship with food. I stuck with the blue plan because I want as many free options as possible. If anyone has any tips for the last 10 pounds let me know! submitted by /u/luxelavishxo [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/2F2k9QY

Week 1 done on green, so happy with the results.

So today is weigh in day for me I'm due my period and I still lost a whopping 5lb 😍 I'm so very very happy I knew the loose clothing and feeling lighter wasnt all in my head, but to lose it when I'm due my monthly cycle too it just makes this even sweeter an achievement hehe I ate all my weeklies too. Just goes to show with perseverance and dedication. tracking and being honest with yourself does work if you follow the plan. Love love love weight watchers and so glad I came back hehe submitted by /u/fluffy-jumper [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/3573GWq

This No-Equipment Glutes Workout Will Literally Lift Your Butt

Image
There’s something seriously alluring about a shapely behind. Case in point: you clicked on this article from the enticing feature image of Steph Claire Smith . But it doesn’t take a bikini booty shot—or Beyonce’s All The Single Ladies filmclip—to prove that a curvy butt is not only sexy, but it’s also frickin’ feminine. But twerking and perving isn’t all they’re good for. Personal trainer, Jenna Douros says there’s so much more to strong glutes than aesthetics. “A well-trained rear can increase your athletic performance and power, promote fat loss (yippee), [and] improve your posture,” she says. So, to help you boost your overall fitness and tighten your butt at the same time, Douros has put together a 20-minute butt-blaster workout you can do anywhere, anytime. “I’ve designed this workout to help you work up a really good sweat and whip your booty into shape, no matter where you are. All you need is 20 minutes, a couch, chair or bench, a timer and readiness to work your butt off,
