How much do you trust the fit points?

I have a fitbit which is synced to my WW app but I just feel like the points it gives me is too much? For reference, I am a female just shy of 6 foot weighing at 160 and if I walk for about 30 minutes at 3mph it will give me 4 fitpoints. I am maintaining right now so I love swapping my fit points for a cheat meal or some M&M (whatever I'm craving) but are they giving me too much? What is your experience?
