Can someone help me understand why these beans are worth so many points?!

I'm fairly new to WW so I may just be missing something... Black beans are one of my favorite foods, super happy they are zero points. I've eaten many plain black beans out of cans since starting WW, use the barcode scanner and always 0 points. Today I scanned Simple Truth Organic Spicy Black Beans and it shows 3 points for 1/4 cup. That seems so high to me, especially when a serving size is 1/2 cup. Eating the whole can would be 21 points?! I will put in the link for the nutrition facts/ingredients. I know they are more than straight black beans and contain sugar and oil but I don't think it would be enough to count for all those points? Is this accurate? This would not be the first time that the scanner has been off but never by such a high amount of points than what was expected. Thoughts??
