Rewarded on WW for “unhealthy” foods
Hi All!
I am by no means a WW veteran, however I do notice that on the program the points don’t really account for the actual health of certain foods. For example, a sugar free, chocolate pudding cup is 2 points. However, all health studies point to how horrible sucralose and aspartame is for you. But the regular sugar pudding cup is 5 points. I understand that there is probably just a formula where sugars, carbs, fats and calories are combined and are given a point value. but I just feel like it’s misleading.
Also, why does WW hate nuts so much! Or healthy fats in general for that matter? 5 points for 22 raw almonds!? 4 points for 1 TBSP of avocado oil!? I don’t understand!
Would love to hear other’s thoughts on these things. TIA!
