Adderall is making me fatter

I was diagnosed with adhd a month ago, I always been fat, my weight was 228, my height was 5'8 when I started my treatment with adderall 10mg xr, I feel like when I take the medication I eat more, I havent weight myself now, but I can tell I am gaining more weight, is this normal, should I stop my treatment?
