Vent post: Negativity from my mom about my at-goal weight

My mom and I are both lifetime members at goal. The healthy weight range for my height as per WW is 113lb to 141lb. I set my goal weight as 135lb and have consistently weighed in between 130-135 for a year now. The healthy weight range for my mom’s height is 109-137lb and she set her goal at 125 and has maintained between 115-120 for a year. Comparably, she is at a lower weight for her range than I am for mine. Because of this, whenever I see her she makes comments about how I’m “getting there” or “making great progress”. She always comments that I’m getting skinnier every time she sees me even though she KNOWS that I’ve been maintaining the same weight and I’m happy where I am. I just don’t understand why she’s like this. I’ve commented to her that if I was actually skinnier every time she sees me, I would be withering away but she just laughs it off. I feel like WW has turned her from a sweet humble person to a judgmental jerk. Any advice is welcome - thanks for coming to my ventin...

Newbie to WW - dry January

Day 2 of logging points (blue) I realized my beloved wine twice a week is probably a big part of how I've gotten to the weight I'm at. I'm going to give dry January a try, hopefully kickstart my weight loss. Anyone else find alcohol to have an impact on weight? Any suggestions appreciated. submitted by /u/seffings [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/2u4tFkx

Holiday weigh in scaries

If anyone else ate like an absolute monster over the holidays like I did, this is your sign to hop back on the scale even if you’re scared. I didn’t want to weigh in today because I thought I had gained at least 3 pounds from all the cookies, cakes, and delicious foods. Turns out I was only up 0.4 lbs! I will take that in exchange for a small holiday binge! On my way to Pilates now and I will keep pushing forward to lose this 0.4 and many more. Stay the course and don’t be afraid of the scale πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼 submitted by /u/seacretshark [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/367n7zn

Need help figuring out daily and weekly points on Blue

Hi, everyone! I hope we’ve all survived the holidays. I’m back to regular tracking today, and I realized that I haven’t updated my daily and weekly points since I first started in July. I don’t pay for Weight Watchers - I use my mom’s login to look up point values and then track using iTrackBites. So, it doesn’t automatically adjust my daily and weekly points. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to look up what my daily and weekly point values should be. I started at 172.4 lbs, weighed in this morning at 150.0 lbs, am 5.2” tall, and female. I lead a pretty sedentary lifestyle. I appreciate any and all help! Thank you! Edit: Forgot to mention that my goal is 135! submitted by /u/rspar3 [link] [comments] from Proven weight loss success since 1963...now with 10% more Oprah https://ift.tt/369bFmT
